David and Nadia Topography Range Pinotage 2018

We have only 0 items left, hurry!

Speaking from experience, this wine is well worth a story to share around the dinner table. You can expect to delight in sour cherry, bramble, slight hints of garden herbs and hibiscus on the nose. With a medium-bodied palate, chewy tannins and a nicely judged acidity, it has a great supple finish.

Additional Information

David and Nadia have been at the forefront of the modern South African wine scene in that they have really put statement-making wine and the Swartland region on the map. For a long time, Pinotage has been a mainstay in their portfolio. Pinotage, in its traditional sense, is known for being big and showy with lots of extraction and oak, and a bold show of fruit. However, David and Nadia were certainly among the first to successfully showcase a different style of Pinotage that was lighter and more elegant. Pinotage is a crossing of two lighter style wines, Cinsault and Pinot Noir thus this style of Pinotage really does make a lot of sense. Unfortunately, the Pinotage will no longer be part of their portfolio. It is not all doom and gloom though, fortunately we have been able to get our hands on some of the 2018 vintage, of which we are delighted to share with you.
